Last week, our colleagues in the UK’s Royal Economic Association recently hosted a really informative, fascinating discussion on ‘Brexit, UK and Ireland‘ (Tuesday, 15 June 2021).
This webinar focused on the challenges facing the two economies of Ireland (Northern Ireland and the Republic) and asked the question: How can economists help solve them?
The event featured a host of distinguished speakers from both side of the border, and inside and outside of academia. A view from both sides was delivered by:
- Martina Lawless, ESRI (and IEA Board Member)
- Esmond Birnie, Ulster University
- Stuart Anderson, CBI NI
- Stephen Kinsella, University of Limerick
Chair: Graham Brownlow, Senior Lecturer, Queen’s Management School.
More on the speakers and the event itself is available here.
